Warrandyte CFA is a 100% volunteer run fire brigade. We have been serving the community for over 80 Years. We have over 50 members, who provide an 24-hour service, 365 days a year.
Warrandyte CFA volunteers attend more than 200 calls for assistance, each year. These calls include house, grass and bushfires. As well as attending car accidents and many other emergency events.
Our fire brigade is located at the base of the Yarra Valley, 35 kms northeast of Melbourne. Warrandyte sits on the fringe of both city and country, our town is positioned in one of the most beautiful and unique bush environments in Victoria.
The very nature of Warrandyte’s environment and its surrounding suburbs, means that our community does face a very real threat of bushfire. Our aim is to provide preparedness information and details about our activities.
